The Labor Market Conditions Index was the leading economic report for the day. The Labor Market Conditions Index decreased to 0.6 from 1.3. Trading was mainly stable on Monday as traders await the Federal Reserve’s announcement Wednesday on changes to the federal funds rate. An accelerated pace for rate increases is expected to conflict with President Donald Trump’s plans for the economy, which could lower market return estimates for the year.
