Calamos Investments has announced monthly dividends for its six closed-end funds with an ex-dividend date of April 7. Below are details on each of the funds and their forward dividend yields.

Calamos Global Dynamic Income Fund

The Global Dynamic Income Fund (CHW, Financial) is focused on income with diversification to global equities, fixed income securities and alternative investments. Its top stock holding is Apple (AAPL, Financial). The fund is trading at $7.82. It has announced a monthly dividend of 7 cents, giving it a forward dividend yield of 10.74%.

Year to date the fund has a total return of 14.27%. It has a one-year total return of 26.2%, a three-year total return of 5.46% and a five-year total return of 7.78%.

Calamos Convertible and High Income Fund

The Convertible and High Income Fund (CHY, Financial) is focused on income with diversification to convertible securities and high yield corporate bonds. According to the fund’s Feb. 28 reporting its top holding was the convertible preferred stock of Allergan PLC (AGN, Financial), and the majority of its portfolio was held in convertible bonds at 42.5%.

Its top holding is the convertible preferred stock of Allergan PLC. The fund is trading at $19.33. It has announced a monthly dividend of 16.7 cents, giving it a forward dividend yield of 10.37%.
