The Asia Pacific Fund, Inc. Announces Estimated Ordinary Income Dividend

NEW YORK, Nov. 26, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Asia Pacific Fund, Inc. (NYSE:APB, Financial) (the “Fund”) announced today that through October 31, 2018, it is expected that the Fund will pay a dividend from ordinary income estimated at $0.52 per share (which includes a short-term capital gains distribution estimated at $0.33 per share). The dividend will be declared in December 2018, to shareholders of record in such month, and paid in December 2018. In addition, it is expected that the Fund will pay an estimated distribution of $0.62 per share from net long-term capital gains on securities sold. The actual amounts distributed might differ from these estimates.
