CNBC Talked with Warren Buffett's right-hand man David Sokol on the operating side of Berkshire Hathaway. Sokol is rumored to a candidate for the CEO job of Berkshire if Buffett ever decides to pass on the torch.

In this over 10-minute interview, David Sokol discussed the outlooks of the companies he plays a role in: NetJet, MidAmerica, and BYD; and he provided his perspective on a number of other issues: the housing market, the economy in general and the Healthcare reform bill that is being cooked in Washington.

He is optimistic about the outlook about NetJet in the next year or two, despite a gloomy economy that refrains Corporate USA from extravagant spendings. Sokol thinks NetJet is taking market share from its competitors.

He thinks it will take years for the utility business to recover, along with the economic activity level in general.

He is excited about the BYD success in introducing electric car models.

On the Healthcare reform bill, his opinion is that no decision is better than a bad decision. The uncertainty created by the reform bill is causing hesitation for the companies to hire new worker, said David Sokol.
