Alamos Gold Inc is engaged in the exploration, mine development and extraction of precious metals. It owns and operates the Mulatos mine and holds the mineral rights to the Salamandra group of concessions in the State of Sonora, Mexico.

Alamos Gold Inc was formed on February 21, 2003, as a result of the amalgamation of Alamos Minerals and National Gold. The Company is engaged in the exploration, mine development and extraction of precious metals. The Company owns and operates the Mulatos mine and holds the mineral rights to the Salamandra group of concessions in the State of Sonora, Mexico, which includes several known satellite gold occurrences. In addition, the Company owns the Agi Dagi, Kirazli and Çamyurt gold development projects in Turkey. Its geographic segments include Canada, Mexico and Turkey. The Company competes with other mining companies.
