Alamos Gold Inc. is a gold mining and exploration company engaged in exploration, mine development, and the mining and extraction of precious metals, primarily gold. The Company's primary asset is the Mulatos Mine and its 30,536 hectares of Salamandra Concessions in the state of Sonora, Mexico, acquired on February 21, 2003, by way of amalgamation of National Gold and Alamos Minerals. In addition, on January 6, 2010 the Company acquired the development-stage Agi Dagi and Kirazli Projects in the Biga district of northwestern Turkey. In 2011, the Company discovered the Çamyurt Project, located approximately 3 kilometers from the Aği Daği Project, which has the Company believes has the potential to become a stand-alone mining project.
