Apogee Enterprises Inc is engaged in the design and development of value-added glass solutions for enclosing commercial buildings and framing art.

Apogee Enterprises Inc was incorporated under the laws of the State of Minnesota in 1949. The Company is engaged in the design and development of value-added glass solutions for enclosing commercial buildings and framing art. Its segments include Architectural Glass, Architectural Services, Architectural Framing Systems, and Large-Scale Optical Technologies. The Architectural Glass segment fabricates glass used in customized window and curtain wall systems comprising the outside skin of buildings. The Architectural Services segment installs and renovates customized aluminum and glass window and curtain wall systems comprising the outside skin of buildings. It also designs, engineers and fabricates a majority of the metal systems it installs. The Architectural Framing Systems segment designs, engineers and fabricates the aluminum frames used in customized aluminum and glass window, curtain wall, storefront and entrance systems comprising the outside skin and entrances of buildings. The Large-Scale Optical Technologies segment manufactures value-added glass and acrylic products for the custom picture framing market. Its trademarks include APOGEE VIRACON, VIRACON VUE-50, DIGITALDISTINCTIONS, ROOMSIDE, EXTREMEDGE, BUILDING DESIGN and STORMGUARD, among others.
