Bridgestone Corp manufactures & sells tire & rubber based products. It offers passenger tires, commercial tires, motorcycle tires, specialty tires, construction materials, golf equipment, retreated technology & conveyor belt, among others.

Bridgestone Corp was incorporated in Japan in March 1931. It manufactures & sells tire & rubber based products. It operates in two segments: The Tire segment and diversified products segment. The Tire segment is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of tires and tubes for passenger automobiles, trucks, buses, construction and mine vehicles, industrial vehicles, agricultural machinery, aircrafts. The Diversified products segment provides automobile related parts, urethane foams, electronic precision parts, industrial material related products and construction related products. The Company encounters competition in both the tire and diversified products segment. Its operations are subject to diverse national (and, in Europe, supranational) laws and regulations governing all aspects of business activity, including trade, investment, foreign exchange transactions, anti competitive practices, and environmental protection.
