Cantel Medical Corp provides infection prevention and control products in the healthcare market. Its operating segments include Endoscopy, Water Purification and Filtration, Healthcare Disposables and Dialysis.

Cantel Medical Corp was incorporated in Delaware. The Company is a provider of infection prevention and control products in the healthcare market. Its operating segments include: Endoscopy, Water Purification and Filtration, Healthcare Disposables and Dialysis. Endoscopy segment offers medical device reprocessing systems, disinfectants, detergents and other supplies used to high-level disinfect flexible endoscopes. This segment also offers disposable infection control products intended to eliminate the challenges associated with proper cleaning and high-level disinfection of numerous reusable components used in gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy procedures. Water Purification and Filtration segment offers water purification equipment and services, filtration and separation products, and disinfectants for the medical, pharmaceutical, biotech, beverage and commercial industrial markets. The healthcare Disposables segment offers single-use, infection prevention and control healthcare products used principally in the dental market including face masks, sterilization pouches, towels and bibs, tray covers, saliva ejectors, germicidal wipes, plastic cups and disinfectants. This segment also manufactures and provides biological and chemical indicators for sterility assurance monitoring services in the acute-care, alternate-care and dental markets. Dialysis segment offers medical device reprocessing systems, sterilants/disinfectants, dialysate concentrates and other supplies for renal dialysis. The Company sells and services its endoscope reprocessing equipment, high-level disinfectants, cleaners and consumables through its own United States field sales and service organization. Outside of the United States, it sells through independent distribution partners in Europe, Canada, Asia, Australia and Latin America as well as its own sales and service organizations in the Netherlands and Singapore. Its Competitors include Kimberly-Clark, 3M, Steris, Danaher/Sybron, Dentsply/Sultan Healthcare, Amcor. The Company's products are subject to regulation by the FDA, which regulates the testing, manufacturing, packaging, distribution and marketing of its medical devices and water purification devices in the United States.
