Cresud SA is an agricultural company. The Company is engaged in the production of basic agricultural commodities with a growing presence in the Brazilian agricultural sector.

Cresud SACIF y A was incorporated under the laws of Argentina on December 31, 1936. It is an Argentine agricultural company engaged in the production of basic agricultural commodities. It also has a presence in the Brazilian agricultural sector, through its investment in BrasilAgro, as well as in other Latin American countries. The Company is currently engaged in several activities including crop production, beef cattle production and milk production. Its business model focuses on the acquisition, development and operation of agricultural properties and the selective sale of properties where value appreciation has been realized. The Company is also engaged in the Argentine real estate business through its subsidiary IRSA, one of Argentina's real estate companies. The development of the Company's agribusiness depends on a number of federal, state and municipal laws and regulations related to environmental protection.
