Dana Holding Corp was incorporated in Delaware in 2007. The Company provides high technology driveline axles, driveshafts and transmissions, sealing and thermal-management products. Its customer base includes vehicle manufacturers in the light vehicle, medium/heavy vehicle and off-highway markets. It manages its operations through four operating segments; Light Vehicle segment, Power Technologies segment, The Commercial Vehicle segment and Off-Highway segment. Light Vehicle and Power Technologies segments support light vehicle original equipment manufacturers "OEMs" with products for light trucks, SUVs, CUVs, vans and passenger cars. The Commercial Vehicle segment supports the OEMs of on-highway commercial vehicles "primarily trucks and buses", while its Off-Highway segment supports OEMs of off-highway vehicles. It competes with independent suppliers and distributors, as well as with the in-house operations of certain OEMs. It operates in 27 countries within a network of 90 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities. Products and technologies developed by the Company are used by manufacturers that produces vehicles for use on highways, job sites, and farm fields, whether powered by gasoline, diesel, electric, or hydrogen-based engines. The Company operates in North America, Europe, South America, Asia-Pacific.
