Dean Foods Co process and distribute fluid milk and other dairy products, including ice cream, ice cream mix and cultured products. It also produces and distributes TruMoo, a reformulated flavored milk, as well as juices, teas, and bottled water.

Dean Foods Co was incorporated in Delaware in 1994. It is a food and beverage company and a processor & direct-to-store distributor of fresh fluid milk and other dairy and dairy case products in the United States. The Company manufactures, markets and distributes branded and private label dairy case products, including fluid milk, ice cream, juice, tea, cultured dairy products, creamers, ice cream mix and other dairy products to retailers, distributors, food service outlets, educational institutions and governmental entities across the United States. The Company sells its products on a local or regional basis through its local and regional sales forces, although some national customer relationships are coordinated by a centralized corporate sales department. The Company's operations are subject to a number of food-related regulations, including the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and regulations promulgated there under by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
