Diodes Inc manufactures and supplies application-specific standard products within logic and analog semiconductor markets, serving the consumer electronics, computing, communications, industrial and automotive markets.

Diodes Inc was incorporated on June 15, 1959 in California and reincorporated in Delaware in 1968. The Company is a manufacturer & supplier of application-specific standard products within the broad discrete, logic, analog & mixed-signal semiconductor markets, serving the consumer electronics, computing, communications, industrial & automotive markets. Its products include diodes, rectifiers, transistors, MOSFETs, protection devices, functional specific arrays, single gate, dual gate and standard logic, amplifiers and comparators, Hall-effect and temperature sensors, power management devices, including LED drivers, AC-DC and DC-DC switching, linear voltage regulators, and voltage references along with special function devices, such as USB power switches, load switches, voltage supervisors, and motor controllers. Our products are sold primarily throughout Asia, North America and Europe. The Company designs, manufactures and markets these semiconductors for diverse end-use applications. Its product portfolio addresses the design needs of advanced electronic equipment, including high-volume consumer electronic devices such as digital media players, smartphones, tablets, notebook computers, flat-panel displays, mobile handsets, digital cameras and set-top boxes. It serves over 250 direct customers worldwide, which consist of original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and electronic manufacturing services (EMS) providers. Additionally, the Company has approximately 150 distributor customers worldwide, through which it indirectly serves over 50,000 customers. The Company markets and sells its products worldwide through a combination of direct sales and marketing personnel, independent sales representatives and distributors. The Company's manufacturing processes use many raw materials, including silicon wafers, aluminum and copper lead frames, gold and copper wire and other metals, molding compounds and various chemicals and gases. Some of its competitors include Fairchild Semiconductor Corporation, Infineon Technologies A.G., NXP Semiconductors N.V., ON Semiconductor Corporation, Rohm Electronics USA, LLC, Toshiba Corporation and Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. The Company is subject to a variety of U.S. federal, state, local and foreign governmental laws, rules and regulations.
