Eurasian Minerals Inc was incorporated under the laws of the Yukon Territory of Canada on August 21, 2001. The Company is mainly in the business of exploring for, and generating royalties from, metals and minerals properties. The Company's royalty and exploration portfolio mainly consists of properties in North America, Turkey, Europe, Haiti, Australia, and the Asia Pacific region. The Company started receiving royalty income as of August 17, 2012 when it acquired Bullion Monarch Mining, Inc. The Company operates mainly as a royalty and prospect generator. Under the royalty and prospect generation business model, it acquires and advances early-stage mineral exploration projects and then forms partnerships with other parties for a retained royalty interest, as well as annual advanced royalty and other cash payments. Through its various partnership agreements, Eurasian also continues to provide technical and commercial assistance to partner companies as the projects advance. Its properties are located outside of North America. The Company is engaged in several projects including, Koonenberry - Perry & Armstrong, Koonenberry - Arastra, Koonenberry - Rockwell, Koonenberry - Bates in Australia; Trab-23 Property in Turkey; Copper Springs, Copper King, and Red Top Properties, Arizona; Jasper Canyon, Buckhorn Creek, and Frazier Creek Properties, Arizona and Nevada; Cathedral Well Property and Richmond Mountain Property, Nevada; Bullion Creek-Red Picacho Property, Arizona; and among others. The Company competes with other companies for the acquisition and exploration of mineral interests.
