First Financial Bancorp through its subsidiaries engaged in the commercial banking and other banking and banking-related activities. The Company's services include commercial lending, real estate lending and consumer financing.

First Financial Bancorp., an Ohio corporation was formed in 1982. It is a mid-sized, regional bank holding company headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Company provides commercial banking and other banking related services through its wholly owned subsidiary, First Financial Bank, National Association. The Company provides a range of banking services including commercial lending, real estate lending, and consumer financing. It offers deposit products that include interest-bearing and non-interest-bearing accounts, time deposits, and cash management services for commercial customers. It also provides a full range of trust and asset management services through its wealth management division. The Company provides three types of loans namely commercial, real estate, and consumer. Real estate loans are loans secured by a mortgage lien on the real property of the borrower, which might either be residential property or commercial property. Commercial loans are made to all types of businesses for a variety of purposes such as inventory, receivables, and equipment. Commercial lending activities include equipment and leasehold improvement financing for franchisees, principally quick service and casual dining restaurants. Consumer loans include loans made to individuals. These types of loans include new and used vehicle loans, second mortgages on residential real estate, and unsecured loans. The Company works with businesses to meet their working capital needs while also providing long-term financing for their plans. The Company is subject to the provisions of the Bank Holding Company Act of 1956, as amended (the BHCA) and is subject to supervision and examination by the Federal Reserve Board. Its competitors include local and regional financial institutions, savings and loans, and bank holding companies, as well as some of the banking organizations in the United States.
