Hain Celestial Group, Inc. was incorporated in Delaware on May 19, 1993. The Company manufactures, markets, distributes, and sells natural and organic products. Its product line includes various natural products, products made with organic ingredients and certified organic products. Its product portfolio includes grocery, snacks, tea and personal care products. It offers grocery products, including infant formula, infant and toddler food, non-dairy beverages, and frozen desserts, among others. The company also provides snack products comprising various veggies and other straws, tortilla style chips, whole grain chips, baked cheddar puffs, and popcorn, as well as potato, root vegetable, and other vegetable chips; and specialty teas, such as herbal, green, wellness, white, red, and chai teas. In addition, it offers personal care products consisting of skin care, hair and oral care, deodorants, baby care items, diapers, body washes, and sunscreens, body washes and sunscreens, as well as acne treatment products. Further, the Company distributes fresh prepared foods, such as sandwiches, appetizers, and full-plated meals to retailers, caterers, and food service providers. Its customer base consists of natural food distributors, supermarkets, natural food stores, mass-market retailers, e-tailers and club stores. Its products are sold through a combination of retail direct sales force and internal sales professionals, supported by third-party food brokers. The Company has operational footprints across the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Europe. The Company also has a minority investment in Hain Pure Protein Corporation, a processor and distributor of antibiotic-free chicken and turkey products. The Company competes with large national and international companies and numerous local and regional companies.
