Lakeland Bancorp, Inc., a bank holding company, was organized in March of 1989 and commenced operations on May 19, 1989. The Company, through Lakeland State Bank, offers an array of lending services to small and medium-sized businesses, professionals and individuals in northern New Jersey. Its offerings include commercial loans and leases, real estate and consumer loans. Its lending services include short and medium term loans, lines of credit, letters of credit, inventory and accounts receivable financing, real estate construction loans, mortgage loans and merchant credit card services. It also lends unsecured commercial and industrial loans. Depository products include demand deposits, as well as savings, money market and time accounts. The Company also offers wire transfer, internet banking, mobile banking and night depository services to the business community and municipal relationships. In addition, it offers cash management services, such as remote capture of deposits and overnight sweep repurchase agreements. Its consumer banking services include checking accounts, savings accounts, NOW accounts, money market accounts, certificates of deposit, internet banking, secured and unsecured loans, consumer installment loans, mortgage loans, and safe deposit services. It also offers investment and advisory services to individuals and businesses.
