Laredo Petroleum is an independent oil and gas producer in the United States. The company operates exclusively in the Permian (Midland) Basin. At the end of 2016, the company reported net proves reserves of 167 million barrels of oil equivalent. Net production averaged about 50 thousand barrels per day in 2015 at a ratio of 73% oil and natural gas liquids and 27% natural gas.
