Mobile Mini Inc offers portable storage solutions that consists of container and office product offerings and specialty containment solutions that consist of primarily of liquid and solid containment units, pumps and filtration equipment.

Mobile Mini Inc was incorporated and founded in 1983 in Delaware. The Company along with its subsidiaries is engaged in providing portable storage and specialty containment solutions. The Company also sells new and used units and provides delivery, installation and other ancillary products and value-added services. The Company business includes two product categories including Portable Storage Solutions and Specialty Containment Solution. The portable storage solutions consist of its container and ground level office product offerings. It offers portable storage products in varying lengths and widths with an assortment of differentiated features such as patented locking systems, premium doors, electrical wiring and shelving; and provides secure, accessible storage for a diversified client across various industries, including retail and consumer services, construction, industrial, commercial and governmental. The Company has a fleet of portable storage and office units operating throughout the U.S., Canada and the U.K. serving a diversified customer base, including retailers, construction companies, medical centers, schools, utilities, distributors, the military, hotels, restaurants, entertainment complexes and households.; and uses the products for applications, including the storage of retail and manufacturing inventory, construction materials and equipment, documents and records and other goods. The specialty containment products consist of liquid and solid containment units, pumps and filtration equipment. It also provides an offering to its customers of value-added services designed to enhance the efficiency of managing liquid and solid waste. The Company has a fleet of specialty containment products, concentrated in the U.S. gulf coast, including liquid and solid containment units, serving a specialty sector in the industry. Its specialty products are leased to chemical, refinery, oil and natural gas drilling, mining and environmental service customers. The Company's network includes approximately 133 portable storage locations, 19 specialty containment locations and 7 combined locations. Its portable storage fleet consists of approximately 205,200 units and specialty containment business has a fleet of approximately 11,700 units. It faces competition from several local and regional companies, as well as national companies, in all of its current markets. Its competitors include Algeco Scotsman, PODS, Pac-Van, 1-800-PACK-RAT, Haulaway Storage Containers, ModSpace, McGrath RentCorp, and Wernick Hire, along with other national, regional and local companies. The Company's operations are subject to numerous federal and local laws and regulations governing environmental protection and transportation.
