GuruFocus Profitability Rank ranks how profitable a company is and how likely the company’s business will stay that way. It is based on these factors:

1. Operating Margin
2. Trend of the Operating Margin (5-year average). The company with an uptrend profit margin has a higher rank.
••3. Consistency of the profitability
4. Piotroski F-Score
5. Predictability Rank•

The maximum rank is 10. A rank of 7 or higher means a higher profitability and may stay that way. A rank of 3 or lower indicates that the company has had trouble to make a profit.

Guru Investment Theses on Mellanox Technologies Ltd

Baron Funds Comments on Mellanox Technologies Ltd. - Nov 22, 2013

As mentioned above, Mellanox Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ:MLNX) addresses a key bottleneck in modern computing architectures – the connections among computing servers and between servers and storage and networking equipment. Mellanox interconnect solutions increase data center efficiency by providing the highest throughput and lowest latency, delivering data faster to applications and unlocking system performance capability.

Baron Funds Comments on Mellanox Technologies Ltd. - Nov 21, 2013

Mellanox Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ:MLNX) is the leading provider of high-speed, low- latency interconnection systems for computing, storage and communications applications. We reinitiated a position in the stock due to its attractive valuation and growth opportunities over the next several years. During the third quarter, its share price declined as expectations for deployments by large Internet customers were pushed out into 2014. We believe Mellanox has a significant technological lead over its competition in addressing a key pain point in modern data center-centric computing – interconnection between the hardware building blocks that make up today's computing systems.
