Marlin Business Services Corp is a provider of equipment financing solutions to small & mid-sized businesses customer, including copiers, computers & software, security systems, telecommunications equipment & certain commercial & industrial equipment.

Marlin Business Services Corp is incorporated in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on August 5, 2003. The Company is a provider of equipment financing solutions, mainly to small and mid-sized businesses. It finance over 100 categories of commercial equipment important to the typical small and mid-sized business customer, including copiers, security systems, computers and software, telecommunications equipment and certain commercial and industrial equipment. It access its end user customers through origination sources comprised of its existing network of over 10,800 independent commercial equipment dealers and, to a much lesser extent, through direct solicitation of its end user customers and through relationships with select lease brokers. It use both a efficient telephonic direct sales model and, for strategic larger accounts, outside sales executives to market to its origination sources. Its typical financing transaction involves a non-cancelable, full-payout lease with payments sufficient to recover the purchase price of the underlying equipment plus an expected profit. It focuses mainly on the segment of the market comprised of the small and mid-size independent equipment dealers. It focus on establishing its relationships with independent equipment dealers to meet their need for high-quality, convenient point-of-sale lease financing programs. It have the capabilities and expertise to service large national accounts through its National Accounts Finance Group which provides dedicated resources focused on exemplary service levels for select national accounts. It provide equipment dealers with the ability to offer its lease financing and related services to their customers as an integrated part of their selling process, providing them with the opportunity to increase their sales and provide customer service. It competes with a variety of equipment financing sources that are available to small and mid-sized businesses, including: national, regional and local finance companies that provide leases and loan products. The Company's insurance operations are subject to various types of governmental regulation.
