Numerex Corp was founded in 1992. The Company through its subsidiaries provides managed enterprise solutions enabling the Internet of Things (IoT). Its portfolio of registered United States, European, Canadian, and Mexican trademarks include such core marks as NUMEREX, UPLINK, NUMEREX DNA, FOCALPOINT OMNILINK, IMANAGE, ITANK AND MYSHIELD. The Company's competitors include Service Delivery Platforms, Service Enablement Services, Application Enablement Platforms, Application Development Platforms, and Connected Device Platforms; IoT focused Original Equipment Manufacturers, vertically focused IoT Application Service Providers, Mobile Virtual Network Operators. The Company is subject to certain governmentally imposed taxes, surcharges, fees, and other regulatory charges, as well as new laws and regulations governing fixed and mobile communications devices, associated services, its business and markets.
