Navios Maritime Acquisition Corp was incorporated in the Republic of the Marshall Islands on March 14, 2008. The Company owns a fleet of modern crude oil, refined petroleum product and chemical tankers providing world-wide marine transportation services. In addition, the company owns and operates the bulk terminal in Uruguay and one of the largest liquid ports in Paraguay - one of the successful and prominent operations of its kind in South America. It is an innovator in seaborne risk management and shipping advisory services.
