Pan American Silver Corporation, a British Columbia corporation was incorporated on March 7, 1979. The Company operates, develops and explores for silver producing properties and assets. Its main product is silver and it also produces and sells gold, zinc, lead and copper. Its mining operations and developing mining projects are carried out in Mexico, Peru, Argentina and Bolivia. The principal buyers of silver and gold doré from its Dolores, Alamo Dorado, La Colorada, and Manantial Espejo mines, once refined, are international bullion banks and traders. Silver and gold doré is delivered to refineries in Mexico, Germany, and the United States. All phases of the Company's operations are subject to environmental regulation in the various jurisdictions in which it operates.
