Business Description

PMFG, Inc. was incorporated in Delaware. The Company provides custom-engineered systems and products designed to help ensure that the delivery of energy is safe, efficient and clean. The Company mainly serves the markets for power generation, natural gas infrastructure and refining and petrochemical processing. It offers a range of separation and filtration products, selective catalytic reduction, turbine emission exhaust and silencing systems and other complementary products including specialty heat exchangers, pulsation dampeners and silencers. The Company's main customers include equipment manufacturers, engineering contractors and owner operators. Its business strategy is to continue to pursue opportunities in high-growth international markets, capitalize on opportunities to deliver complete systems, use its technological capabilities to address a broader range of pollutants, further expand its technical expertise by investing in engineering talent and improve its manufacturing processes. The Company classifies its systems and products into two groups: Process Products and Environmental Systems. Both systems are applied in the power generation, natural gas infrastructure, refining and petrochemical processing and other specialized industries. The Company's separation and filtration systems and products include Vane Separators, Centrifugal Separators, Filter Separators, Three-Phase Separators, Gas Filters and Industrial Silencers. The Company's Environmental Systems segment designs, engineers, fabricates and sells environmental control systems and products for air and noise pollution abatement. Its products include Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) Systems and Oxidation Systems. The Company competes with Anderson Separators Company, King Tool Company, Hitachi Zosen Corporation and Express Integrated Technologies, LLC. The Company's operations are subject to a number of federal, state and local laws and regulations.
