Ryman Hospitality Properties Inc, is a self-advised and self-administered Delaware Corporation incorporated in 1956. The Company operates as real estate investment trust "REIT" specializing in group-oriented, destination hotel assets in urban and resort markets. It owns assets include a network of four upscale, meetings-focused resorts totaling 7,795 rooms that are managed by lodging operator Marriott International, Inc. under the Gaylord Hotels brand. These four resorts, which it refers to as its Gaylord Hotels properties consist of the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee, the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center near Orlando, Florida, the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center near Dallas, Texas, and the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center near Washington D.C. The Company's operations are organized into three business segments; Hospitality, Opry and Attractions, and Corporate and Other. Its Hospitality segment includes its hotel properties and the results of hotel operations; Its Opry and Attractions segment includes its Grand Ole Opry assets, WSM-AM and its Nashville attractions; and its Corporate. The Company's current hotel properties are subject to certain federal, state, and local governmental laws and regulations including, without limitation, labor regulations, health and safety laws and environmental regulations applicable to hotel and restaurant operations.

Ryman Hospitality Properties Inc. (RHP) (less than 0.1%) (RHP - $48.15 - NYSE) is a Nashville, Tennessee based REIT that owns convention hotels in Nashville, Tennessee; Orlando, Florida; Dallas, Texas; and Washington, D.C. Other assets include the iconic Opryland, the famous Ryman Auditorium, the General Jackson Showboat, Gaylord Springs Golf Links, and Nashville based radio station WSM-AM. RHP recommended changes to property manager Marriott, which included deploying additional sales staff at the property and regional sales office levels and educating and incentivising Marriott’s sales team to highlight the uniqueness and complexity of the Gaylord properties. These changes are showing early traction in the form of strong bookings. The company also continues to see robust transient room night production, benefiting from Marriott’s strong distribution system.
