Renasant Corporation is a Mississippi corporation incorporated in 1982. The Company is a bank holding company, which owns and operates Renasant Bank, a chartered bank with operations in Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia, and Renasant Insurance, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Renasant Bank with operations in Mississippi. The Company offers a diversified range of financial fiduciary and insurance services to its retail and commercial customers through its subsidiaries and full service offices located throughout north and north central Mississippi, Tennessee, north and central Alabama and North Georgia. All of its business activities are conducted through, and substantially all of its assets and revenues are derived from, the operations of its community banks, which offer banking and financial services to individuals and small to medium-size businesses. These services include checking and savings accounts, business and personal loans, interim construction loans, equipment leasing, as well as safe deposit and night depository facilities. Automated teller machines are located throughout its market area. Its Online and Mobile Banking products and call center also provide 24-hour banking services. Its construction loan portfolio consists of loans for the construction of single family residential properties, multi-family properties and commercial projects. It offers both first and second mortgages on residential real estate. It also offers loans for the preparation of residential real property prior to construction. In addition, it offers home equity lines of credit and term loans secured by first and second mortgages on the residences of borrowers for purchases, refinances, home improvements, education and other personal expenditures. Both fixed and variable rate loans are offered with competitive terms and fees. The Company offers commercial real estate loans to developers of commercial properties for purposes of site acquisition and preparation and other development prior to actual construction. In addition, loans in which the owner develops a property with the intention of occupying it are also included in commercial real estate loans. It offers a range of deposit services and products to its consumer and commercial clients. Through its community branch networks, it offers consumer checking accounts with free Internet banking with bill pay and free debit cards, interest bearing checking, money market accounts and savings accounts. Through the Wealth Management segment, it offers fiduciary services and administer qualified retirement plans, profit sharing and other employee benefit plans, personal trust and estates, as well as offers annuities, mutual funds and other investment services through a third party broker-dealer.
