The Publishing and Retail Services segments primary product offerings include magazines, catalogs, retail inserts, books, directories and packaging. The Variable Print segment includes the Companys U.S. short-run and transactional printing operations. This segments primary product offerings include commercial and digital print, direct mail, labels, statement printing, office products, forms and packaging. The Strategic Services segment includes the Companys financial print products and related services, logistics services, digital and creative solutions and print management offerings. The International segment includes the Companys non-U.S. printing operations in Asia, Europe, Latin America and Canada. Additionally, this segment includes the Companys business process outsourcing and Global Turnkey Solutions operations. Business process outsourcing provides transactional print and outsourcing services, statement printing, direct mail and print management offerings through its operations in Europe, Asia and North America. Global Turnkey Solutions provides outsourcing capabilities, including product configuration, customized kitting and order fulfillment for technology, medical device and other companies around the world through its operations in Europe, North America and Asia. The primary raw materials the Company uses in its print businesses are paper and ink. The Companys products are distributed to end-users through the U.S. or foreign postal services, through retail channels, electronically or by direct shipment to customer facilities. The Company is subject to numerous rules and regulations, including, but not limited to, product safety, environmental and health and welfare benefit regulations.
