Saputo Inc produces, markets and distributes dairy products from Canada, the United States, Argentina and Australia as well as bakery products in Canada.

Saputo Inc was constituted by a Certificate of Amalgamation issued pursuant to the provisions of the Canada Business Corporations Act on July 1, 1992. The Company produces, markets and distributes dairy products from Canada, the United States, Argentina and Australia as well as bakery products in Canada. Its segments are reported under three geographic segments. The Canada Sector includes the Dairy Division (Canada) and the Bakery Division. The USA Sector combines the Cheese Division (USA) and the Dairy Foods Division (USA). Finally, the International Sector combines the Dairy Division (Argentina), the Dairy Ingredients Division and the Dairy Division (Australia). The Dairy Ingredients Division includes national and export ingredients sales from the North American divisions, as well as cheese exports from these same divisions. The Company competes with multinational and national dairy processors. The Company's production facilities are subject to laws and regulations at various government levels, including federal, state/provincial and municipal.
