Tutor Perini Corp is a construction services company. It offers general contracting, construction management and design-build services to private customers and public agencies.

Tutor Perini Corp was incorporated in 1918. The Company is a construction services company which offers general contracting, pre-construction planning and comprehensive project management services, including the planning and scheduling of the manpower, equipment, materials and subcontractors required for a project. It also offers self-performed construction services including site work, concrete forming and placement, steel erection, electrical and mechanical, plumbing and HVAC. The Company's business is conducted through four basic segments: Civil, Building, Specialty Contractors and Management Services. The Company's civil segment is comprised of Tutor Perini Civil Construction, Tutor-Saliba Corporation, and Cherry Hill Construction, Inc. and public works construction, including the new construction, repair, replacement and reconstruction of the public infrastructure such as highways, bridges, mass transit systems and wastewater treatment facilities. The Company's building segment, comprised of Perini Building Company, James A. Cummings, Inc., Rudolph and Sletten, Inc., Keating Building Company, Desert Plumbing & Heating Company, Inc., and Powerco Electric Corporation, focuses on large, complex projects in the hospitality and gaming, transportation, healthcare, municipal offices, sports and entertainment, education, correctional facilities, biotech, pharmaceutical, industrial, and high-tech markets, and electrical and mechanical, plumbing and HVAC services as a subcontractor to the Company and other general contractors. The Company's management services segment, including Perini Management Services, Inc. (PMSI), and Black Construction's operation in Guam, provides diversified construction and design-build services to the U.S. military and government agencies as well as surety companies and multi-national corporations in the United States and overseas. Its main competitors are Balfour Beatty Construction, Clark, DPR, Gilbane, Hensel Phelps, JE Dunn, McCarthy, PCL, Skanska, Suffolk, Tishman, and Turner. In its Civil segment, it competes mainly with large civil construction firms including Skanska, Granite, Tully, Schiavone, Traylor Brothers, American Infrastructure, and Kiewit. The Company's properties and operations are subject to federal, state and municipal laws and regulations relating to the protection of the environment, including requirements for water discharges, air emissions, the use, management and disposal of solid or hazardous materials or wastes and the cleanup of contamination.
