Texas Rare Earth Resources Corp was incorporated in the State of Nevada in 1970 as Standard Silver Corporation. In September 2010, the Company changed name from Standard Silver Corporation to Texas Rare Earth Resources Corp. It is a mining company engaged in the business of the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral properties. The Company's principal focus is on developing a metallurgical process to concentrate or otherwise extract the metals from the Round Top Project's rhyolite. The project is located in Texas. Mineral exploration, including mining operations are subject to governmental regulation.
