Woodside Petroleum Ltd was incorporated in Australia in 1954. The Company is the operator of oil and gas production in Australia. It has operations encompassing the production of liquefied natural gas, domestic gas, condensate, crude oil and liquefied petroleum gas. It operates oil floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessels in the Exmouth Basin, North West Shelf and Timor Sea. The Company operates in four segments namely North West Shelf Business Unit, Pluto Business Unit, Australia Oil Business Unit and Browse Business Unit. North West Shelf Business Unit is engaged in exploration, evaluation, development, production and sale of liquefied natural gas, pipeline natural gas, condensate, liquefied petroleum gas and crude oil from the North West Shelf ventures. Pluto Business Unit is engaged in exploration, evaluation, development, production and sale of liquefied natural gas and condensate in assigned permit areas.
