Expedia Inc is an online travel company. The Company offers holiday packages, rental cars, cruises, as well as destination services and activities. Its business segments are Leisure and Egencia.

Expedia is the world's largest online travel agency by bookings, offering services for hotel rooms (61% of total 2016 sales), vacation rentals (8%) air tickets (9%), rental cars, cruises, and other (13%), and advertising revenue (9%). Expedia operates a number of branded travel booking sites, including Expedia.com, Hotels.com, Travelocity, Orbitz, Wotif, AirAsia, and HomeAway. It has also expanded into travel media with the acquisition of Trivago. Transaction fees for online bookings account for the bulk of sales and profits.
