T Rowe Price Equity Income Fund just released the portfolio of the 4th quarter. The fund is run by the firm’s CIO Brian Rogers. The fund gained 15.15%, almost even with the market.

This is Brian Rogers’ outlook: “we are on the long and winding road toward both economic and equity market recovery. Regardless of macroeconomic concerns, there are numerous reasons to be cautiously optimistic. Many corporations are reporting strong earnings and free cash flow. Large-cap companies are also showing sharp improvements in profitability. Additionally, there is a lot of cash still on the sidelines, and as a result we are starting to see corporations begin to participate in share repurchases and raise their dividends.”

Brian Rogers buys Hewlett Packard, Allstate Corp, General Motors, Entergy Corp, Campbell Soup, Conagra Foods, Morgan Stanley, Cisco Systems, Whirlpool Corp, Pfizer Inc, Exelon Corp, Nucor Corp, Constellatn Egy, Clorox Co, sells Deere & Co, Kraft Foods Inc, Alcoa Inc, Travelers Cos, Sprint Nextel, Mgm Resorts Int, Pall Corp during the 3-months ended 12/31/2010, according to the most recent filings of his investment company, T Rowe Price Equity Income Fund. As of 12/31/2010, T Rowe Price Equity Income Fund owns 124 stocks with a total value of $19.6 billion. These are the details of the buys and sells.
