Comcast Corporation reported results for the quarter ended June 30, 2013 which included increases in consolidated revenue of 7.0%, operating cash flow of 8.4% and operating income of 11.6% . The company had an increase in earnings per share of 30.0% to $0.65, and its free cash flow increased 25.4% to $1.9 billion. Comcast’s quarterly dividends and share repurchases totaled $1 billion.

Comcast Corporation’s Brian L. Roberts, chairman and CEO, commented, “We are pleased with our results this quarter. Cable had outstanding growth, particularly in high-speed Internet, and NBCUniversal had strong performance across all of its businesses. Our focus on delivering innovative products and a superior customer experience is driving our success, including stronger video, voice and business services results in cable. NBCUniversal has real momentum, with solid growth in revenue and double-digit cash flow growth. We have a fantastic combination of cable and content businesses with many opportunities ahead.”

To clarify the difference in Comcast shares: CMCSA is A shares. CMCSK is Comcast Special A shares with limited voting parameters. Comcast also has three non-dividend paying stocks on NYSE: CCS, CCT and CCW.

Comcast Corporation is up 30% over 12 months. The company has a market cap of $119.96 billion; its shares trade at around $44.94 with a P/E ratio of 18.70 and P/S ratio of 1.89.
