I don't believe D&C actively reduced their stake in Sprint. What they did was tender their shares in the Softbank merger, as did 97% of other shareholders. The fact that they didn't sell their remaining 26% stake is a positive sign. You are making the same mistake the WSJ made. I would expect a bit more diligence from professional analysts/journalists.
