As GuruFocus approaches the 10th anniversary of its founding, it has been recognized by Barron’s for the second time this month for the information it provides its subscribers.

Two weeks ago, Barron’s praised GuruFocus’ interactive charts; more recently, Barron’s listed GuruFocus as one of the websites where investors can find the best accounting analysis. Mike Hogan of Barron’s specified GuruFocus’ warning signs that assist subscribers in making informed investing decisions.

It used, as an example, GuruFocus’ assessment of Nokia (NOK, Financial) and a five-year decline in the revenue per share “that marks its fall from cellphone pre-eminence.”

Dr. Charlie Tian, who founded GuruFocus in 2004, greeted the news.

“I am very proud that GuruFocus is named the place to ‘Get The Best Accounting Analysis’ by Barron’s,” said Tian. “Indeed, GuruFocus provides the complete 15-year financial, business quality and valuation data. These data are essential to the understanding of business operations of the companies and help investors make much better decisions.

“GuruFocus is the only place that provides valuable data such as historical Shiller P/E, Peter Lynch Fair Value, Altman Z-Score of individual companies.”
