Good morning, and welcome to the presentation of our financial results for the first 6 months of 2022. As usual, I will spend a few minutes on the execution of our strategy before I hand over to our CFO, Donal Galvin, who will bring us through the financial details. And then as usual, we will have time for questions.

Clearly, geopolitical tensions, increasing inflation pressures, tightening monetary policy and deteriorating growth outlooks have combined to create a more uncertain and volatile business environment. But against that difficult and challenging backdrop, we have continued to make progress on the implementation of our strategy, and we are announcing a solid financial performance in the first 6 months.

While growth in the Irish economy will be dampened compared to expectations at the start of the year, we're still expecting a real expansion of between 4% and 5% in 2022. And that buoyancy is reflected in EUR 5.4 billion of new lending in the first 6 months of this year, representing an increase of 20% on the prior year
