Thank you. Thank you all for coming. I see Shelly back there. And Jack, thank you for coming. My name is Ram Mukunda. I'm the CEO of IGC Pharma. We are in the Alzheimer's space.
And what's up -- so I grew up in Maryland and in Connecticut. I have degrees in mathematics as well as in engineering, and I have a very strong STEM background. I started my first company in 1991. It was called Startec. I took it public on Nasdaq. And that company was then eventually sold.
I then started IGC. And we, in 2014, started looking at the cannabis space. And we looked at how cannabinoids could help people suffering from a variety of ailments and diseases.
One of our advisers named as Dr. Saunders is a professor at a local university in Maryland. He put us on to the University of South Florida.
