Edinburgh Investment Trust PLC Annual Shareholders Meeting Transcript
We are pleased that we are proud of the GBP10 million (inaudible) here in Edinburgh and thank you also to those who are proceeding virtually over the company's website. In accordance to the company's articles, I am the Chair of this meeting and represent the proxy votes that have been submitted in advance. (inaudible) quorum of shareholders is present, and I declare the meeting open.
There will be a presentation today by James de Uphaugh of Liontrust, our Investment Manager. [And that again], with all of today's proceedings are being recorded and will be made available on the company's website. Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity for shareholders to ask questions.
Vicky Hastings has 10 years as a director of the company and the last four of those as a senior independent director. As communicated in the last annual report, Vicky will not (inaudible) for re-election at this meeting.
