Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to the Annual Meeting of Stockholders of MFA Financial, Inc. We are pleased that you are able to join us today at the first annual meeting that MFA is holding in a virtual setting via webcast over the Internet, which we are doing in light of the public health concerns relating to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On our meeting screen, you will see several sections, which contain the agenda for the meeting, a place for you to vote or to update your previously submitted vote, should you so desire, a place for you to ask questions and the meeting materials, including the rules of conduct for the meeting.
