Here’s a review of his highest-impact sells, starting with Delta Air Lines Inc. (DAL, Financial). After 19 quarters of triple-digit gains and three quarters of double-digit gains, George Soros sold out his DAL. Delta reported third quarter 2013 net income of $1.36 billion (GAAP), up from $1.04 billion in the same quarter of 2012. Net income per diluted share was $1.59 in the third quarter of 2013. Delta Air Lines Inc. (DAL): Sold Out

Up 194% over 12 months, Delta Air Lines Inc. has a market cap of $24.06 billion. Shares trade with a P/E of 11.70. The dividend yield is 0.40%.

Guru Action: As of Sept. 30, 2013, George Soros sold out his DAL, selling 5,151,757 shares at an average price of $20.84 per share, for a gain of 35.2%, his lowest quarter in five years.

The current share price is around $28.17, with a change from average up 35%.
