Summary

The stock was a significant laggard.

Qualcomm (QCOM, Financial) has been hurt by the semiconductor shortage, since it makes the bulk of its revenue from chips used in consumer electronics and cell phones. We believe that supply problems will improve. Until then, the stock will probably struggle to outperform the broader market.
