I admire Wilbur Ross. He knows how to be holding cash to put to work when companies are desperate for it. Many of us can identify attractive investment opportunities, but having a war chest to take advantage of them is harder.

- Ross thinks that the Fed action is much more for the securities markets than it is to help the actual economy

- He thinks he will be making more investments in marine transport. He thinks eventually container ships and bulk carriers where there is currently a problem of oversupply. This problem is compounded by lukewarm economies worldwide. Once again he will be supplying cash to companies that need it badly.
