David Winters joined Bloomberg for an interview from the Sun Valley conference where all of the media bigwigs are currently meeting.

In the interview David was asked why he doesn't own Microsoft (MSFT, Financial). His reply was "too many opportunities elsewhere around the world."

Winters is a Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A, Financial)(BRK.B, Financial) shareholder because he thinks it is a low-risk long-term investment.

Much of Winters' portfolio is focused globally where he intends to profit from growth in the growing consumer sector. He believes this trend is a great long-term fat pitch.
