Good afternoon, everybody, and good morning to the U.S.A. Thank you for joining us at this conference call. With me is Lars Thykier, CFO; and Steffen Heegaard, the Group IR Director. We're holding this conference call because earlier today, we published the Q4 report.
I would like to start the conference call with a few opening remarks here. If you -- looking at the Q4 results, after a disappointing third quarter, Q4 was better back on track. The Q4 results outperformed consensus estimates on premium growth in non-life and as well as the result in non-life, life and on investment return.
Compared to the fourth quarter of '19, the nontechnical (sic) [technical] result in Q4 improved by DKK 96 million. This was despite the fact that runoff gains decreased DKK 40 million and that the claims level on house insurance increased by further DKK 38 million.
As stated in both the Q2 and the Q3 report, the lower level of runoff profits in 2020 compared with previous years
