Xoom Corporation (XOOM, Financial) operates an online consumer-to-consumer international money transfer business. It offers customers the ability to send money any time to family and friends safely, securely, and conveniently from any Internet-enabled device such as a computer or mobile phone. XOOM reported a strong second quarter as a result of several successful business initiatives and weakness in the Indian Rupee, which translated into increased transaction volumes.
