Baron Funds Comments on Cebu Air Inc.

Cebu Air, Inc. (PHS:CEB, Financial) is a leading low-cost airline operating in the Philippines. Shares of the company declined in the quarter due to the announcement of future capacity additions by a competitor. Further, general weakness in Southeast Asian equity markets such as the Philippines compounded the pressure on Cebu Air shares. We remain confident in the company's longer- term prospects and continue to believe the Philippines represents an attractive growth market for air travel. (Michael Kass)
