For the month, the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.33%, the S&P 500 gained 1.15% and the Nasdaq Composite gained 2.50%.

- The Mortgage Bankers Association’s mortgage applications index was down -3.4%.
- The Pending Home Sales Index decreased -1.3% for the month.
- The Federal Reserve reported its outlook on the economy as modest-to-moderate in the Beige Book, showing little change in their perspective on the economy.
