U.S. market indexes were higher on Monday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 24,386.03 for a gain of 56.87 points or 0.23%. The S&P 500 closed at 2659.99 for a gain of 8.49 points or 0.32%. The Nasdaq Composite closed at 6875.08 for a gain of 35.00 points or 0.51%. The VIX Volatility Index was lower for the day at 9.34 with a loss of -0.24 points or -2.51%.

Monday’s Market Movers
