Warren Buffett Buys Wal-Mart, Reveals Stakes in Anheuser Busch

Warren Buffett’s Investment Company, Berkshire Hathaway, owns about 19 million shares of Wal-Mart (WMT, Financial), as reported in its amended 10-Q filings today. Berkshire Hathaway started to acquire Wal-Mart shares during the second quarter of 2005. By the end of the third quarter, Berkshire Hathaway owns almost 19 million shares, which is about 0.45% of total outstanding shares of Wal-Mart with a market value of $832 million. During the second and the third quarter the share price of Wal-Mart dropped from $52 to a multi-year low of $42.
